Coordinator of Marketing and Education. 2006 - 2008.

Conducted museum tours and taught children's "Japanese Printmaking" art activity as part of the Target sponored "Seeing Art/Making Art: A Collaboration with the Northern Illinois University Community School for the Arts and the Northern Illinois University Art Museum." (2007-2008)

Presented "Impressions of Beggars" and "Motherhood, Public Policy and Representation" informal gallery talks to coincide with exhibitions "Rembrandt's Beggars" and "Beggars and Choosers." (2006-2008)

Taught "Pop-Up Books and Cards" at free summer workshops for children in partnership with the DeKalb Public Library as part of the Northern Illinois University Art Museum's participation in the DeKalb County Passport to Adventure Program. 2007

Class consists of non-traditional students, transfer students, art majors and minors.
Course focused on conceptual development, craft, and communication of ideas through form and space with an introduction to various construction methods, installation, and time-based media.

Instructor of Record. Two-Dimensional Foundations. Fall 2003.
Class consisted of art majors and minors. Majority of freshman students.
Course focused on conceptual development, craft, and communication of ideas through work in drawing, collage, Photoshop, manipulation of found images and text, book and poster design.

Instructor of Record. Drawing with Color.   Spring 2003.
Class consisted of transfer students and freshman art majors.
Course focused on increased drawing dexterity and technique with color media while furthering idea development. Work in pastel, colored pencil, conté, washes, watercolor, and Xerox transfer.          

University Pedagogy Course.    Instructed by Mary Stewart, Foundations Coordinator.
A comprehensive one-semester course on teaching at the college level.

Printmaking Graduate Assistant. Fall 2001- Spring 2002.
Assisted multiple classes in lithography and intaglio shop.
Classes using facilities consisted of art majors and minors.


Visiting Artist Host. Graduate Colloquium Speaker. March 16-20, 2004.
Authored proposal and recieved full funding for visit. Organized itinerary for Kelly Mark's five-day visit including a public lecture, student critiques, and a workshop with performance art class.        
Provide lodging at residence for Canadian artist Kelly Mark.

Visiting Artist Host. Graduate Colloquium Speaker. October 19-21, 2004.
Authored proposal and recieved full funding for visit. Organized itinerary for Germaine Koh's three-day visit including a public lecture and student critiques.
